This text presents a review and assessment of the meetings of teachers and researchers in the history of architecture, design and the city which began in Mar del Plata in 2006 and reached their tenth edition in Resistencia and Corrientes during 2024. The review is based on the available documents published by the organizers, including the calls for papers, presentations, and respective lectures. Following this, the assessment aims to provide a possible synthesis of the main arguments and outcomes shared in the meetings. They reflect the orientations in teaching, research, and outreach, but when observed as a whole, suggest the recognition that these histories, although inseparably linked to architecture, design and urbanism programs, constitute a distinct disciplinary field in their own right.
